HYBRID LIFE PODCAST 008 - GADI MIZRAHI (WOLF + LAMB)
Resident Advisor’s #3 label of the year; Mixmag album of the month; front cover of DJ Magazine: you would have had to be living under a rock not to notice the flowering of Wolf + Lamb over the past year. The roots of this success lie in a meeting between Gadi Mizrahi (the Lamb) and Zev Eisneberg (the Wolf) at a party just after the turn of the century. In the following years they would turn a rundown loft in Williamsburg into The Marcy Hotel, where they would inject some well needed life into New York’s underground party scene. The Marcy would also be the base for Wolf + Lamb Music, which would not only be an outlet for their own productions, but where Gadi would also personally coach a host of talented young producers, that they would bring on through the label.
Riding the crest of this success, the Lamb has embarked on a European tour this summer. This has given him the chance to not only pursue solo gigs and deepen his own personal and musical journey, but also fly the flag for one of the hottest labels in the world today.
